    The beauty of Lower Kinney Lake is reason enough to stop by. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada rocks! While you're here at Lower Kinney Lake you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail, and a glorious spot to camp here at Lower Kinney Lake is Hermit Valley Campground. After a long day outdoors Best Western Topaz Lake Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more  
   fun things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Kirkwood while you're here, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Lower Kinney Lake has it all. What would winter be without some skiing at Bear Valley, and do set aside some time for Bloomfield Meadow since you're here
 
               at Lower Kinney Lake. Float down the rapids of Carson River - East Fork in a kayak, and Lower Kinney Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bloomfield Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Carson River - East Fork; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Elbow Creek flows through this neighborhood; close by you hit upon Ebbetts Pass which is a delightful location to have a look at. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's at Lower Kinney Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Lower Kinney Lake. Lower Kinney Lake usually gets a great deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here; July is the month with the least moisture.
The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. You could also pop by Dorothy Lake if you're here at Lower Kinney Lake; it's nearby, and Black Dome is a peak you can make out from Lower Kinney Lake.
