A visit to Lower Kinney Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Kinney Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Bloomfield Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Carson River - East Fork. On a wonderful day at Lower Kinney Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Black Dome is picturesque and can be observed from here. Lower Kinney Lake

This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place for whitewater paddling close to Lower Kinney Lake is Carson River - East Fork; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Gardnerville. Gotta ski! Kirkwood is a good site to do that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Kinney Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hermit Valley Campground. high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lower Kinney Lake.
These mountains rock,
just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Bloomfield Meadow is a good site, and a good site to pop by is Ebbetts Pass. The Charity Valley Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Lower Kinney Lake,
and everyone nearby loves skiing at Bear Valley. Lower Kinney Lake typically gets a lot of precipitation; most of the snow falls through January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
If you want a magnificent time in the
great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Wet Meadows Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Burnside Lake Trail. Any time is a wonderful time at Lower
Kinney Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. While you're here at Lower Kinney Lake, you could also check out scenic Kinney Reservoir; there's some flowing water nearby, Elbow Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lower Kinney Lake.
