There's whitewater on Trinity River - East Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites Weed is a great choice. Lower Cliff Lake is generally a relatively dried out spot; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Central, and the Castle Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.

spot to stop at, and the skiing at Mount Shasta is great. From Lower Cliff Lake you obtain a splendid panorama of Boulder Peak. So much fun stuff right next door to Lower Cliff Lake, truly remarkable. You'll need more than a
day to discover everything Lower Cliff Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gumboat Campground, and don't leave Lower Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Echo Lake Trail. Through the summertime months, highs generally
are in the 80's at Lower Cliff Lake. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lower Cliff Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Pocket is a splendid site here at Lower Cliff Lake; you can run the rapids of Sacramento River.
