     This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Carson River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people, and The Meadow is a wonderful site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lower Blue Lake Campground; you'll probably meet some folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mokelumne River - North Fork; since  
   you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Upper Blue Lake.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Throughout the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Lower Blue Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lower Blue Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous
 
               time here at Lower Blue Lake. Summit Lake Dam is a place that is next to Lower Blue Lake, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail.
So much fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just astonishing. There's so much to do here at Lower Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Creek Campground is a perfect place for that, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bear Valley is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Lower Blue Lake called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. Lakes are tremendous; Twin Lake is a lake that's near Lower Blue Lake. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lower Blue Lake. Middle Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and if you need a spot to stay The Mountain Club is a glorious choice.
The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. The snow is great at Kirkwood, and The Nipple is a peak you can distinguish from Lower Blue Lake. The high level of rain makes Lower Blue Lake a pretty wet site; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Border Ruffian Flat is a great place to check out, and the Burnside Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
