All the outdoors enjoyable things close to Lower Blue Lake will keep you coming back many times. Near Lower Blue Lake you find the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13 which is a tremendous hiking trail, and the Burnside Lake Trail is a good       hiking trail close by. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Border Ruffian Flat is a charming location any time of year, and Lower Blue Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Lower Blue Lake Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lower Blue Lake, for example Twin Lake, and obviously Middle Creek flows through this area. Lower Blue Lake                  is a reasonably wet place usually with lots of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a brilliant location to get some rest; everyone close by loves skiing at Bear Valley. Summertime at Lower Blue Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Blue Lake. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Lower Blue Lake is so good! Dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel, and the skiing at Kirkwood is tremendous. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Middle Creek Campground. This site, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. If the weather is great here at Lower Blue Lake, you can go for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail, and at Lower Blue Lake you can make out The Nipple. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Do have a look at Summit Lake Dam since you're here at Lower Blue Lake, and Upper Blue Lake is a splendid lake nearby.
