If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lower Beebe Lake. Why not camp at Woods Lake Campground if you're here at Lower Beebe Lake; a glorious place to check out nearby is Horse Canyon. The skiing at Bear Valley is good. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lower Beebe Lake a wet spot; through January this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | Sierra Nevada, too tremendous to be true. Grouse Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay; dry warm beds await you at Bear Valley Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Caples Lake Campground is a delightful site to camp, and Mountain Adventure Seminars is a wonderful spot to get some rest. 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lower Beebe Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
There are great spots to explore along the Emigrant Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Kirkwood is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Charity Valley Trail, and if you come at the right
time of year, American River - South Fork offers some splendid whitewater. Don't leave Lower Beebe Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mokelumne River - North Fork.
Lower Beebe Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Just can't get enough of Lower Beebe Lake. If you get bored of Lower Beebe Lake, you could also stop by close by Beebe Lake, and sites like Martell Flat are tremendous to explore.
