This is a wonderful area for       people who like lakes. Beebe Lake is a lake nearby; a pleasant journey to Martell Flat is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Camping at Woods Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and a good location for whitewater paddling is American River - South Fork.
