Lower Bear Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You could also go to Dry Lake since you're here at Lower Bear Lake; it's close by; Lower Bear Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Dillion Creek Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit nearby Little Bear Valley Creek since you're here at Lower Bear Lake, and a short trip to Elbow Spring is always

| | worthwhile. Lower Bear Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Trace Creek in a kayak; the top of Bear Peak is easily distinguished from Lower Bear Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. hiking is available along the Summit Valley Trail. Don't leave Lower Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail; Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations that are nice
to stop at nearby. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. If you're here, you might as well check out Bear Valley; you can stay the night at Pick-aw-Ish Campground. Not
enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Lower Bear Lake is in a tremendous location in the shadow of the Kelsey Range; Lower Bear Lake is not the only spot close by, Bear Lake is a close by lake. High temperatures at Lower
Bear Lake all through the days of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lower Bear Lake.
