    Beautiful Lower Bear Lake has much to offer visitors. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. If you come at the right time of year, Trace Creek offers some fine whitewater, and a tour to Oregon Caves National Monument is recommended. So much fun stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges, too fine to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Klamath River, and there's delightful hiking along the  
   Clear Creek National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Little Bear Valley Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and the Summit Valley Trail offers hiking at its best.
You can see Bear Peak from Lower Bear Lake, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Bear Lake is one of those nearby. Lower Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. A large amount of rainfall falls at Lower Bear Lake;
 
               the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
Just can't get enough of Lower Bear Lake. Why not camp at Dillion Creek Campground since you're here at Lower Bear Lake, and Elbow Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A good location close to Lower Bear Lake is Bear Valley. At Lower Bear Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lower Bear Lake fall into the 30's.
If you came for an overnight stay Pick-aw-Ish Campground is a wonderful place to camp; a range like the Kelsey Range is always striking.
