    If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Lower Bear Lake. For the duration of the long summer days at Lower Bear Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lower Bear Lake. A lot of rainfall falls at Lower Bear Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain,  
   and the driest month of the year is July. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a great time. A delightful site to camp here at Lower Bear Lake is Pick-aw-Ish Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Trace Creek.
All the outdoors exciting things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back repeatedly. A tour to Lower Bear Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Elbow Spring, and do take a hike on the Summit Valley Trail. This lake
 
               is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lower Bear Lake. Some close by water includes Little Bear Valley Creek, and Oregon Caves National Monument is a very great spot to take a look at.
If you come at the right time of year, Klamath River offers some good whitewater, and a great place is Bear Valley. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Bear Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dillion Creek Campground is a great local campground, and Lower Bear Lake is right by the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail.
Bear Peak is simple to spot from Lower Bear Lake; a range like the Kelsey Range is always scenic.
