Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime       temperatures at Loveland Reservoir plunge into the 40's. Palo Verde Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; unsurprisingly Lawson Creek is a delightful stream that is worth a visit. The Santa Rosa Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
