So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Ellis Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14. Very scenic scenery and great skiing is what you get at Alpine Meadows; a glorious close by hotel is Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center. For the duration of the warm months here at Lake Louise, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; what would winter be without some skiing at Homewood. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Louise. A day at striking Lester Beach in the vicinity
of Lake Louise is a glorious thing to do, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Big Spring Trail. Just can't get enough of Lake Louise. If you came to camp General Creek Campground is a nice site to do that. This
lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of American River - South Fork; camping at Meeks Bay Resort & Marina is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. Madden Creek is a great location
to visit; on a pretty day you can go to Calawee Cove Beach. An average amount of rain falls at Lake Louise; the month with most of the snow is January while July is regularly the driest month.
