This location, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors       enjoyable things. Lakes? Sure, Buck Lake is close by; from Lake Louise you acquire a splendid sight of Ellis Peak. For the duration of the warm months here at Lake Louise, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Lake Louise night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Going for a hike along the General Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; what would winter be without some skiing at Homewood. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Louise. A day at striking Lester Beach in the vicinity of Lake Louise is a glorious thing to do, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Big Spring Trail. Just can't get enough of Lake Louise. If you came to camp General Creek Campground is a nice site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of American River - South Fork; camping at Meeks Bay Resort & Marina is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. Madden Creek is a great location to visit; on a pretty day you can go to Calawee Cove Beach.
