Many people like to go to Lost Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail is always a great adventure; whitewater paddling is good on Carson River - East Fork. There is a brilliant hiking trail next to Lost Lakes called the Charity Valley Trail; you'll find a beautiful lake called Crater Lake.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lakes is a good site to visit for more than one day, Damsite Campground is a good site to camp nearby, and a scenic lake like Upper Blue Lake is a fine location to explore. Lost Lakes is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bear Valley, and if you need
a site to stay Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a good choice. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Kirkwood, and the view of The Nipple is beautiful. Just can't get enough of Lost Lakes. Near Lost Lakes you discover the Burnside
Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; Mokelumne River - North Fork has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. For the duration of the warm months here at Lost Lakes, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer
nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lost Lakes temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Forestdale Creek
flows through this area, and Upper Blue Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground. So many cool things to do at Lost Lakes, so little time.
