    If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Lost Lake. Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. What a place this is for outdoors people. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Silver King Trail, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Dodge Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Deadman Campground if you're here at Lost Lake; West Walker River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
 
   A charming lake like Emigrant Meadow Lake near Lost Lake is a great place to explore; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is pretty, you get a great view of Kennedy Peak from Lost Lake; Emigrant Meadow is a brilliant spot to check out. Lost Lake is a location that is rather dried up frequently; of  
               all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month.
Summertime highs at Lost Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is excellent! Lost Lake is right by the Corral Valley Trail, and camping at Lost Lake is good fun, Leavitt Meadows Campground is a good local campground.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is a good local trail, and you could always discover Brown Bear Pass.
