Not much rainfall falls here at Lost Lake; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is July. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites Weed, and Kangaroo Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Pinewood Cove Resort is a wonderful place to camp, and you can go for a       hike on the Echo Lake Trail. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Trinity River, and there's delightful hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 18. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. While you're here at Lost Lake, you could also visit picturesque Masterson Meadow Lake; wonderful hiking is available along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Central is a great location to get                  some rest, and getting to Little Trinity River from Lost Lake is trouble-free. For the duration of the summer months, highs generally are in the 90's at Lost Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows at Lost Lake during the wintertime mostly fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
