California has many beautiful lakes and Lost Lake is one of them. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Eel River, and the Ben Arthur Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. On a good day you can check out Rice Lake, a swamp in the vicinity of Lost Lake; if you need a place to stay Best Western Humboldt House Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Turtle Lake is around here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything
Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fir Cove Campground.
Lost Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Lost Lake you can take a hike along the Ben Duncan Mailbox Trail. You clearly have to have a thing about Lost Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Eel River - North Fork, and Lost Lake is a pleasant place to camp, Bailey Canyon Campground is a pleasant place.

All the water falling down from the sky makes Lost Lake a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. And that's not all the things to do here in the Coast Ranges. A pleasant journey to Pine Flat is a good way to spend an afternoon, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Ruth Hayfork Trail. Through the summer months at Lost Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lost Lake.
So many amusing things in the Coast Ranges, just mind-boggling. It's always good to stop by Indian Springs, and you can distinguish Lake Mountain from Lost Lake.
