     Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Packsaddle Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and Lusk Meadows is a magnificent spot. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lavezzola Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Berger Campground is a magnificent place to camp. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Royal Gorge  
   is a very popular ski area close at hand, and a great site close by is Packer Lake Saddle.
Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lost Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lost Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Very great water scenery is available at Upper Salmon Lake Dam next to Lost Lake, and of course,
 
               this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes, Grass Lake is a lake around here. Lost Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There's magnificent hiking along the Deer Lake Trail; a glorious nearby hotel is Deer Creek Inn. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yuba River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot near Lost Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Butcher Ranch Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Chalet View Lodge is a fine choice, and Church Creek is near Lost Lake and is always a bliss to take a look at. Having a glorious time at Lost Lake is easy. All the outdoors exciting things close to Lost Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Lakes are great; Upper Salmon Lake is a lake that's next to Lost Lake; the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 offers hiking at its best.
