     The beauty of Lost Lake attracts many people from all around. Lost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. Take a side tour to Agua Caliente Creek; there's wonderful hiking along the Aguanga Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Los Coyotes Reservation Campground is a glorious campground here, and the Pacific Crest Trail - section 3 offers hiking at its best.
Lost Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls through
 
   March; June on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Lost Lake is good fun, Lake Henshaw Campgrounds is a good local campground, and dry warm beds await you at San Vicente Resort. For the duration of the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Lost Lake with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's while Lost Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
