If you are in Plumas county it's always a good idea to stop by Lost Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Lost Lake. Stay the night at Sandy Point Campground; a gorgeous lake like Kellogg Lake is a splendid place to go to. Lost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 20's. you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. An average amount of rain falls at Lost Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture.
And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hiking along the Claremont Trail is good fun, and Bailey Creek Cottages is a tremendous place to get some rest. Float down the rapids of Feather River -
North Fork in a kayak, and do take a look at Clear Creek if you're here at Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Three Lakes Campground is a good site to camp nearby; while you're here you can take a hike along the Yellow Creek Trail.
