In California there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Lake is one of them. Lost Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. A splendid nearby hotel is Oakhurst Days Inn, and glide down the rapids of Willow Creek in a kayak. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. You could also
pop by Bare Island Lake since you're here at Lost Lake; it's nearby, and going for a hike on the Chilnualna Fall Trail is always a splendid adventure.
There is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Lost Lake called the Mono Meadow Trail, and Upper Chiquito Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Grizzly Lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Badger Pass is a delightful spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite

National Park is one of the destinations near Lost Lake that are delightful to go to, and paddling on Merced River - South Fork is so much fun.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Buena Vista Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Beasore Meadows Campground is a great place to camp. High temperatures at Lost Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lost Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra Summit.
