This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Whitewater paddling is good on Klamath River. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Camping is available at Pearch Creek Campground, and Mill Creek Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on       Salmon River, and Lost Lake is a place with many visitors from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. Much rain falls at Lost Lake; through December this area sees the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Coast Ranges. Here at Lost Lake you can spot North Trinity Mountain, and going for a hike on the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is always a good adventure.
