    Many people like to go to Lost Lake. This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Whitewater paddling is good on Klamath River. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Camping is available at Pearch Creek Campground, and Mill Creek Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on  
   Salmon River, and Lost Lake is a place with many visitors from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna.
Much rain falls at Lost Lake; through December this area sees the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Coast Ranges. Here at Lost Lake you can spot North Trinity Mountain, and going for a hike on the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is always a good adventure. For the period of the days of summer highs here
 
               at Lost Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
If you get bored of Lost Lake, you could also take a look at close by Red Cap Lake, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Camping at Shivshaneen Co is always a nice experience, and spots like Red Cap Hole are delightful to stop by.
