    What a nice lake Lost Lake is. From a precipitation point of view Lost Lake is a reasonably typical spot; most of the snow falls during January, and July is when it's the driest. During the summertime at Lost Lake highs are regularly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Lost Lake. Cliff Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Lost Lake, and there are some magnificent  
   whitewater spots on Silver Creek - South Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Homewood is a brilliant site to do that; do take a hike on the Highland Trail. After a long day outdoors Resort At Squaw Creek is a nice site to spend a night or two; camping is available at Meeks Bay Resort & Marina. Why not camp at General Creek Campground if you're here at Lost Lake; beaches are splendid and Lester Beach is no exception.

               Northern Sierra Nevada for a pleasant time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14, and from Lost Lake you acquire a glorious view of Lost Corner Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. All the outdoors amusing things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Stony Ridge Lake in the vicinity of Lost Lake, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Calawee Cove Beach.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lost Lake. If you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some great whitewater, and beautiful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Alpine Meadows. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Pepper Tree Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lake; General Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail.
