A great sight of delightful Lost Corner Mountain is available from Lost Lake; American River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. rainfall here at Lost Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Calawee Cove Beach is in the vicinity,
and whitewater paddling is great on Silver Creek - South Fork. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A spree to Lester Beach near Lost Lake is always a great idea, and if the weather is good, you
can go for a hike along the General Creek Trail. The skiing at Homewood is good, and camping at Eagle Falls Campground is always a good experience. High temperatures at Lost Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 70's.
When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Lost Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
