If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Highland Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Thirty-nine Mile Campground is a great place to camp. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Lost Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets       in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lost Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Homewood is a very popular ski area around here; you can go for a hike on the Red Peak Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Lost Lake is about average; January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is                  located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Lost Lake, too glorious to be true. While you're here at Lost Lake it's a glorious idea to stop by Willow Flat; a lake close by is Lake Number Five. This lake is so wonderful. Barrett Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and at Lost Lake you can make out Crystal Range. Lost Lake sits in the shade of the Crystal Range; there's glorious hiking along the Windmiller Trail. Yeah, come here to Lost Lake for a delightful time. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
