Lost Lake is a lake worth visiting. Yeah, come here to Lost Lake for a splendid time. Paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and the snow is tremendous at Dodge Ridge. Get dripping wet paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and Lost Lake is right by the Emigrant Trail. Lost Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. If you love

The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bear Valley, and Silver Valley Campground is a splendid campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Sword Lake; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Charity Valley Trail. 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lost Lake. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and camping at Lost Lake is pleasant fun, Niagra Campground is a pleasant local campground.
