    Lost Lake is a lake worth visiting. Yeah, come here to Lost Lake for a splendid time. Paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and the snow is tremendous at Dodge Ridge. Get dripping wet paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and Lost Lake is right by the Emigrant Trail. Lost Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
If you love
 
   the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bear Valley, and Silver Valley Campground is a splendid campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Sword Lake; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Charity Valley Trail. This site, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. The  
               wonderful people of Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge like to hang out nearby.
The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Lost Lake commonly tend to be in the 60's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lost Lake. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and camping at Lost Lake is pleasant fun, Niagra Campground is a pleasant local campground.
