And that's not everything there is to do here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. From Los Huecos Reservoir you obtain a good vista of Monument Peak, and Flathead Flats is a brilliant       spot here at Los Huecos Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Santa Rosa Mountains. If you came to camp Laguna Campground is a great site to do that; on a great day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 2. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 1 is a great hiking trail right next door to Los Huecos Reservoir, and Oasis Spring is a splendid local attraction. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Rosa Mountains. This lake is                  so wonderful. Los Huecos Reservoir is in close proximity to Boiling Spring Ravine which is beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and a delightful close by hotel is La Casa del Zorro. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Some of the water close by flows, like Agua Dulce Creek, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Monument Trail. At Los Huecos Reservoir through the summer months highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Los Huecos Reservoir sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
