And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. If you came to camp Saddle Camp Campground is a great place to do that, and Thomes Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Beegum Creek. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tomhead Saddle Campground is a delightful place for that. This lake       is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail, and if you haven’t been to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. Long Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. So many amusing things to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too magnificent to be true. A great site like Cedar Basin here at Long Lake is too nice to miss, and Elk Lake is a nearby lake                  that you could stop by. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Lazyman Butte Trail, and from Long Lake you get a great view of Linn Mount. The annual precipitation here at Long Lake is about average; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Hiking along the South Fork Cottonwood Trail is great fun, and since you're here, you could also go to wonderful Square Lake. Summertime highs at Long Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
