In California there are many beautiful lakes, Long Lake is one of them. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Long Lake get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Long Lake. There are other spots here than Long Lake, for example Avalanche Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly

| | is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Long Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Sample Meadow Campground is a glorious local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Dinkey Creek.

and a friendly staff. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Long Lake. Juniper Springs Resort is a great site to get some rest, and there are delightful spots to look at along the Red Mountain Trail.
A common amount
of rainfall falls here at Long Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Kaiser Peak from Long Lake is lovely, and there are some
splendid whitewater spots on San Joaquin River. Long Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
