This place, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. | | for a hike on the Boundary National Recreation Trail is always a good adventure, and camping at Fort Goff Campground is always a magnificent experience. High temperatures at Lonesome Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. a glorious place like Cedar Basin here at Lonesome Lake is too great to miss. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Azalea Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a pleasant place to camp here
at Lonesome Lake is Cook and Green Campground. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Klamath Mountains. Don't leave Lonesome Lake without first going for a hike along the Horse Camp Trail, and Buck Peak is beautiful
and can be made out from here. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Lonesome Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through December while July is usually the driest month.
