Lonesome Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. Here at Lonesome Lake there are plenty of people from Grants Pass, and close by you find the Low Gap Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Summertime highs at Lonesome Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's; the night is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Lonesome       Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is great on Indian Creek Klamath Tributary; here at Lonesome Lake you can catch a sight of Buck Peak. You truly must love the Klamath Mountains. A large amount of precipitation falls at Lonesome Lake; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Klamath River;                  the Boundary National Recreation Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Klamath Mountains. While you're here at Lonesome Lake it's a good idea to check out Cedar Basin, and going for a hike on the Horse Camp Trail is always a fine adventure. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lonesome Lake.
