is a great local campground, and nearby you locate wonderful sites like Elizabeth Pass. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. A great place like Ranger Meadow
here at Lonely Lake is too fine to miss. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get soaked paddling on Kern River, and a great nearby hotel is Western Holiday Lodge Three Rivers. And if that's not sufficient
there's a heap more enjoyable things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Big Bird Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Sawtooth Pass Trail.
