A stunning lake like Twin Lakes next to Lone Pine Reservoir is a perfect place to check out. Lone Pine Reservoir is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Kamp-anza Kampground and RV Park is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Alessandro Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Idyllwild Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and Twin Lakes is a wonderful lake close by. Be careful coming to the Santa Rosa Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. After a long day outdoors Quiet Creek Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 3 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lone Pine Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. | |

It is very arid here at Lone Pine Reservoir frequently; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is June. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the
90's to Lone Pine Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 60's; night lows at Lone Pine Reservoir through the wintertime mostly plunge into the 30's. You'll need more
than a day to look at everything Lone Pine Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Tool Box Spring Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Ramona Trail.

As of now, we do not have any date(s) set for re opening. All info on the reservation can be found at WWW.LosCoyotes.info. Thank You...Los Coyotes campgrounds appear closed. I drove by today (9/17/2005) and closed signs were posted with trespassers will be arrested warnings. What's up?... |

 | 19 miles away Corona, CA 5 star rating 1/20/2009 I have stayed here a few times and every time has been a very pleasurable time. I have stayed in the Hotel part of the resort and the rooms are great, Clean and stocked with fresh towels and supplys. I have also stayed in a RV spot with MY trailer and the hookups are great. The price is great and the location is top notch. This is a great place to stay in the desert.Two swimming pools and two jacuzzi's make it special after that long hike. Hope you stay there soon.
