Just can't get enough of the Santa Rosa Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lone Pine Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Kamp-anza Kampground and RV Park is a great place for that, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 3 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Lone Pine Reservoir has       it all. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Rosa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Cedar Street Inn and Spa is a nice choice, and hiking along the Ramona Trail is tremendous fun. If you came to camp Tool Box Spring Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Alessandro Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Lone Pine Reservoir, and                  during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lone Pine Reservoir temperatures sink to the 30's. Lone Pine Reservoir is a location that is reasonably waterless regularly; most of the rain falls during January; June is when it's the driest. This is a great region for folks who like lakes.
