You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area close to Lone Pine Lake has to offer. Camping is available at Tuttle Creek Campground, and why not take       a refreshing hike along the Mount Whitney Trail. Lone Pine Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is January, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
