The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mammoth Mountain; everybody loves Tully Hole. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Snowcreek Resort is a glorious place to get some rest, and the snow is wonderful at June Mountain. A splendid nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mono Creek, and stopping by Devils Postpile National

Stay the night at Vermilion Campground, and a delightful site is Goodale Pass. All the outdoors exciting things right next door to Lake of the Lone Indian will keep you coming back over and over. called Papoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake of the Lone Indian, you could also take a look at pretty Chief Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Lake of
the Lone Indian is a location that is pretty waterless usually; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. Lake of the Lone Indian is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. High temperatures
at Lake of the Lone Indian during the warm days of summer are in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake of the Lone Indian are in the 20's.
Lake of the Lone Indian is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Upper Vermillion Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on San Joaquin River - South Fork.
