    If you are in Shasta county it's always a good idea to stop by Logan Lake. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Logan Lake. If time allows, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth a visit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Logan Lake; Hanna Trail is a brilliant local trail. At Logan Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime  
   highs during the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Logan Lake are in the 10's. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range.
A great deal of rainfall falls at Logan Lake; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Paddling on Pit River is so much fun, and you can catch a glimpse of Hat Creek Hill from Logan Lake. After a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is
 
               a great location to spend a night or two; a nice location to camp here at Logan Lake is Old Station Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. A short journey to Big Spring is always worthwhile, and nice hiking is available along the Bunchgrass Trail. So much amusing stuff in the Southern Cascade Range, just inspiring. Camping at Big Springs Campground is always a fine experience, and there's pleasant hiking along the Chaos Crags Trail. Logan Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range.
