Loch Leven Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Loch Leven Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort is a good location to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Soda Springs around here. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Loch Leven Lakes. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Fisher Lake;

Loch Leven Lakes is a quite wet place usually with a large amount of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge, and the Cherry Point Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Salmon Lake Trail. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Sterling Lake Campground is a great campground here, and Loch Leven Lakes is not far at all from
Truckee-Grass Valley. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada rules! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Fordyce Creek, and Cherry Point is clearly visible from Loch Leven Lakes. For the period of the
months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Loch Leven Lakes. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Loch Leven
Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Campground is a nice place to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Loch Leven Lakes; Loch Leven Trail is a tremendous local trail.
