Sure, Mallard Lake is just a very short distance away. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Lloyd Lake. Don't leave Lloyd Lake without first going for a hike along the Ben Johnson Trail, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Geary Parkway Motel. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from       San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont here, and Lindley Meadow is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. Huntington Falls is always fun to check out, and if you've had enough of Lloyd Lake, Elk Glen Lake is nearby. Lloyd Lake gets a great deal of water; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. The top of Lone Mountain is easily observed from Lloyd Lake, and taking a little trip to close by Lands End is a fine idea.                  Stanyan Park is a wonderful site to get some rest; on a delightful day it's a nice idea to spend the day at China Beach. There are good places to explore along the Bootjack Trail, and getting to Lobos Creek from Lloyd Lake is easy. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. There's brilliant hiking along the Temelpa Trail, and camping at Edventure More is always a nice experience. Camping is available at Kirby Cove Campground; George Washington Bicentennial Grove is a forest that you can go to. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Presidio Golf Course, and you can hit the beach if you want, Baker Beach is practically right here. Summertime highs at Lloyd Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
