It's always fun to stop by Little Rock Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt Waterman, and naturally Little Rock Creek flows through this vicinity. Little Rock Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. If the weather is delightful here at Little Rock Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Palmdale

Little Rock Reservoir is usually a pretty dried up place; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Una Lake near Little Rock Reservoir, and Campground Number Two is a perfect campground nearby. you can stay the night at Campground Number Three. Lake Palmdale is a good lake in the neighborhood of Little Rock Reservoir; not far from Little Rock Reservoir you obtain some glorious water scenery at Little Rock-Palmdale Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Carr Canyon is always fun. Summertime highs at Little Rock Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 90's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through
the winter are in the 50's while Little Rock Reservoir night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. The Gabrielino National Scenic Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Little Rock Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Palmdale Days Inn.

Mount Wilson Trail
 | 16 miles away We hiked this trail on 9/8/07. Total r/t miles were 14 from trailhead to summit of Mt. Wilson. This was a very strenuous day hike. Lots of switchbacks (some great than 45 degrees) with plenty of outlook points to view all the way from downtown LA to OC. Trail conditions were somewhat shaded however, plenty exposure to hot sun in morning and afternoon. Bring lots of water (refill water avail. at top).... |

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
