Little Needle Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Squaw Valley is a brilliant spot to do that, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Big Spring Trail. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Needle Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and going for a hike on the Five Lakes Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Just can't get enough of the Northern

| | Sierra Nevada. Glide down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Bear Creek Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Alpine Meadows, and the peak of Granite Chief can be observed from Little Needle Lake. temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Little Needle Lake tend to be in the 20's. Talbot Campground is a pleasant campground here; Village at Squaw Valley is
a splendid spot to get some rest.
The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. If you come at the right time of year, Silver Creek - South Fork offers some splendid whitewater; Picayune Valley is a wonderful spot.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area next to Little Needle Lake has to offer. A tremendous nearby hotel is Squaw Valley Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the Painted Rock Trail. Little Needle Lake
is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; all through January this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
