Western Holiday Lodge Three Rivers is a glorious site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Little Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Southern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Ball Dome can be seen from Little Lakes, and if       you haven’t been to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the High Sierra Trail; lots of people from Visalia-Porterville come here. An average amount of rain falls at Little Lakes; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This location, the Southern Sierra Nevada, has                  so much outdoors amusing things. Little Lakes is a great place to camp, Log Bridge Campground is a great place, and if you come at the right time of year, Kaweah River offers some good whitewater. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. There's wonderful hiking along the Don Cecil Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Kaweah River - Middle Fork. Don't leave Little Lakes without first going for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Beville Lake. Crowley Canyon is close to Little Lakes and is a great location. During the months of summer at Little Lakes highs are generally in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Little Lakes are in the 20's.
