A visit to Little Lakes is always a good idea. Not much rainfall falls here at Little Lakes; through January this area sees the most rain while June is typically the driest month. The Sherwin Lakes Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to Little Lakes, and Mount Morgan is painless to spot from Little Lakes. Little Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Mosquito Flat is a wonderful place any time of year, and Mosquito Flat Campground is

| | a glorious campground here. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Little Lakes get into the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Lakes temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Mono Pass is near Little Lakes and is a nice spot, and you can stay the night at Lake Inlet Campground.

A brilliant close by hotel is Mammoth Creek Inn, and there's whitewater on San Joaquin River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant
whitewater of Mono Creek, and Devils Postpile National Monument is one of the destinations that are fine to explore nearby.
And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do next to Little Lakes. This is a brilliant neighborhood
for folks who like lakes. Box Lake is a lake around here, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Mammoth Rock Trail. All the outdoors cool things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and
again. If you need a spot to stay Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a great choice, and brilliant skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain.
