If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Norwalk is a fine choice, and don't leave Little Lake without first going for a hike along the Winter Creek Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mt Waterman, and Del Rio Mobile Home and RV Park is a delightful campground nearby. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Whittier Narrows Reservoir near Little Lake, and Bicentennial Park Campground is a perfect local campground. Rodeway Inn At Civic Center is a good

| | place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Wilson Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana come to Little Lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Iron Wood Nine Golf Course. Lake during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a brilliant spot in the vicinity of Little Lake. Around Little Lake you don’t get a lot of
rain; during the month of February you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Yeah, come here to Little Lake for a perfect time. A pretty lake like Hoover Reservoir close to Little Lake is a nice spot to pop by, and nice hiking is available along the Upper Winter Creek Trail.

 | 15 miles away We hiked this trail on 9/8/07. Total r/t miles were 14 from trailhead to summit of Mt. Wilson. This was a very strenuous day hike. Lots of switchbacks (some great than 45 degrees) with plenty of outlook points to view all the way from downtown LA to OC. Trail conditions were somewhat shaded however, plenty exposure to hot sun in morning and afternoon. Bring lots of water (refill water avail. at top).... |

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
