The Santa Rosa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Around Little Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; February is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Santa Rosa Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Rouse Hill-Bautista Canyon Trail is always a good adventure, and here at Little Lake you can catch       a sight of Reservoir Butte. Having a good time in the Santa Rosa Mountains is painless. A nice place to camp here at Little Lake is Little Lake Campground. Summertime highs at Little Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's; the night is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's with temperatures at Little Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Don't leave Little Lake without first                  going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail, and camping is available at Angler's Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The landscape around Little Lake is dominated by the Santa Rosa Hills, and since you're here you can play some golf at Echo Hills Golf Course. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Little Lake. If you need a site to stay Hemet is a great choice; you can go for a hike on the Alessandro Trail.
