In California there are many beautiful lakes, Little Lagoon is one of them. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping is available at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Alambique Trail. From Little Lagoon you acquire a splendid view of Burns Chalks, and going for a hike along the Butano Ridge Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Throughout the summer at Little Lagoon highs are commonly in the 60's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Historic Trail is a very good spot to explore next to Little Lagoon. Pescadero Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and dry warm beds await you at Costanoa. Paddling on San Lorenzo River is so much fun, and
of course, this is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes, Big Lagoon is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Butano State Park is a great place to camp; hiking along the Ano Nuevo Trail
is brilliant fun. Little Lagoon is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Santa Cruz Mountains. A day at San Gregorio Beach right next door to Little Lagoon is time well spent,
and if you need a location to stay Pescadero Creek Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. One of the best things about Little Lagoon is its proximity to Pomponio Beach, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you
can always pop by nearby Pomponio Reservoir. The amount of rain that falls at Little Lagoon is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most while July is generally the driest month.
