Many people like to go to Little Kern Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Kern River. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Sierra Nevada. Some nearby water includes BIg Kern Lake Creek; a splendid view of pretty Tower Rock is available. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. If you're here, you might as well stop

| | at Kern Canyon, and close by you hit upon the Hockett Meadows Trail which is a great hiking trail.
At Little Kern Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 90's; the night is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Kern Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. is a magnificent hiking trail near Little Kern Lake, and Kern Lake is a great lake close by. Little Kern Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
Little Kern Lake is a good spot to camp, Willow Meadows Campground
is a good spot; you can run the rapids of Kern River. From a precipitation point of view Little Kern Lake is a pretty typical spot; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest
month. There is a splendid hiking trail near Little Kern Lake called the Mount Whitney Trail, and you can stay the night at Campground Guard Station.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Lone Pine is
a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and you have to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Grasshopper Flat since you're here at Little Kern Lake.
