All through the months of summer highs here at Little Grass Valley Reservoir reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Little Grass Valley Reservoir during the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. Little Grass Valley Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and       July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cleghorn Bar Campground; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Cleghorn Bar Trail. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Grass Valley Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Deer Creek Inn is a fine choice. Get soaked paddling on Feather River - South Fork, and the Finger Board Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.                  So many entertaining things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too good to be true. There is a good hiking trail close to Little Grass Valley Reservoir called the Claremont Trail, and drift down the rapids of Feather River - Middle Fork in a kayak. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
