Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - North Fork, and Deer Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Little Gold Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The amount of rainfall that falls at Little Gold Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout January; the driest month is July. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy       the Northern Sierra Nevada. Deer Creek Inn is a tremendous location to get some rest; on a great day you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. If you need a location to stay Chalet View Lodge is a brilliant choice, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Butcher Ranch Trail. Yeah, come here to Little Gold Lake for a perfect time. If you came to camp Berger Campground is a great place to do that; an afternoon playing golf                  at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course is always a joy. For the duration of the days of summer at Little Gold Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Little Gold Lake during the winter usually descend into the 20's. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back many times. Lakes Basin is a scenic place any time of year, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Lavezzola Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Royal Gorge, and the Deer Lake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
