A beautiful lake like Oakland Pond near Little Deer Lake is a pleasant place to go to, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - North Fork. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Little Deer Lake you can play some golf at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course, and a pleasant journey to Hawley Meadow is a nice way to spend an afternoon. | | Deer Lake. Camping at Berger Campground is always a delightful experience; you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. This lake is so wonderful. Lavezzola Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Little Deer Lake, and there's great hiking along the Butcher Ranch Trail. Deer Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's while night lows are typically in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Little Deer Lake tend to be in
the 20's. Little Deer Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge; Deer Creek Inn is a fine site to get some rest. Having
a glorious time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. Little Deer Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Packsaddle Campground is a glorious local campground, and Snake Lake is a glorious lake nearby. Little
Deer Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; through January this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
