     Don't leave Little Crater Lake without first paying a visit to The Eddys; you can observe Mount Eddy from Little Crater Lake. All through the summer months, highs usually are in the 90's at Little Crater Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Little Crater Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This location rocks, just  
   check out all the exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Little Crater Lake. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Central is a perfect location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Little Crater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Friendly RV Park is a fine site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Castle Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites  
               Weed.
The Trinity Mountains here at Little Crater Lake makes the scenery here tremendous, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Mount Shasta. Any time is a magnificent time at Little Crater Lake if you like the outdoors. The Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Little Crater Lake; you can run the rapids of Sacramento River.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Trailer Lane RV Park; while you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Weed Golf Club. Near Little Crater Lake you come across the Echo Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail, and there are other places here than Little Crater Lake, for example Dobkins Lake. Little Crater Lake gets very little rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Lakes? Sure, Durney Lake is around here, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Sacramento River.

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not.
