Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacramento River, and Little Crater Lake lays in the shadow of the Trinity Mountains. It is very dried out here at Little Crater Lake generally; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. On a great day at Little Crater Lake you can take a hike along the Castle Lake Trail. Lakes are       great; Dwight Hammond Reservoir is a lake that's near Little Crater Lake. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Sacramento River; a great site to camp here at Little Crater Lake is Friendly RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express WEED (MOUNT SHASTA AREA) is a great location to get some rest, and Mount Eddy is a peak you can spot from Little Crater Lake. Mount Shasta is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.                  Camping at Trailer Lane RV Park is always a delightful experience; a round of golf at nearby Weed Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. Yeah, come here to Little Crater Lake for a great time. It's always perfect to visit The Eddys, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Echo Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Little Crater Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's.
