If you are in Siskiyou county it's always a good idea to stop by Little Crater Lake. Summertime at Little Crater Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Little Crater Lake. | | Lane RV Park is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Central is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; Sacramento River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Little Crater Lake. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and Weed Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby. | |

If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. It's always magnificent to take a look at The Eddys. Lakes? Sure, Dobkins Lake is nearby. Around Little Crater Lake you don’t get a
lot of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Durney Lake, and what would winter be without
some skiing at Mount Shasta. If the weather is great here at Little Crater Lake, you can go for a hike along the Castle Lake Trail; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express WEED (MOUNT SHASTA AREA). This lake is so wonderful.
Paddling on Sacramento River is so much fun, and this region is dominated by the Trinity Mountains. Camping at Friendly RV Park is always a fine experience, and going for a hike along the Echo Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
