Here at Little Castle Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Redding. There's so much to do here at Little Castle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Castle Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that. Little Castle Lake is a location that is relatively arid typically; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Echo Lake Trail, and Little Castle Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mount Shasta, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacramento River. | |

Just can't get enough of Little Castle Lake. Little Castle Lake is right by the Castle Lake Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Woodsman Hotel. While you're here at Little Castle Lake, you could also have a look at pretty Heart
Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Sacramento River offers some fine whitewater. Summertime highs at Little Castle Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's; the night is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 40's. During
the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Little Castle Lake all through the winter mostly plunge into the 20's.

 | 19 miles away Beehive campground is pretty good, little rocky and if the water is down that can be a problem. The do have several outhouses there and it is easy to get to. Gregory Creek is better but has been closed for many years due to the eagles nesting. Invest in wasp traps!
