Go to Little Bear Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Little Bear Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Little Bear Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with a large amount of rainfall; during January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. East Fork Cherry Creek is a great spot to check out, and there's

| | whitewater on Cherry Creek - West Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Styx Pass is a glorious site to explore nearby. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hetch Hetchy Campground. At Little Bear Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 60's; the nighttime is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the | |

30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Bear Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do near Little Bear Lake. While you're here at Little Bear Lake it's a pleasant
idea to stop by Lord Meadow; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Bartlett Peak from Little Bear Lake is scenic, and Pinecrest Chalet is a great site to
get some rest. Little Bear Lake is a fine spot to camp, Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground is a fine spot, and Boundary Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. The Hetch Hetchy Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to
Little Bear Lake, and if you need a site to stay Evergreen Lodge Yosemite is a magnificent choice. And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of Stanislaus River - Middle Fork close to Little Bear Lake, and Dodge Ridge has great slopes and a friendly staff.
