     What would winter be without some skiing at Royal Gorge, and Little Bear Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Jamison Campground is a great local campground. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. An afternoon playing golf at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course is always a bliss. There's so much to do here at Little Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snag Lake Campground is a splendid place for that.  
   This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Little Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15, and a short visit to Fern Falls is always worthwhile.
If you need a spot to stay Chalet View Lodge is a delightful choice, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lavezzola Creek. Lakes Basin is a great site here at Little Bear Lake, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, Cub Lake
 
               is one of those close by. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things next to Little Bear Lake. There's pleasant hiking along the Deer Lake Trail, and at Little Bear Lake you can see Mount Elwell. Through the summertime months at Little Bear Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Little Bear Lake.
So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Bear Lake; Eureka Lake Trail is a perfect local trail, and a delightful nearby hotel is Deer Creek Inn. An average amount of precipitation falls at Little Bear Lake; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Big Bear Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Little Bear Lake; Yuba River - North Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby.
