This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Lion Lake is a good place of common precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. At Lion Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lion Lake all through the winter generally dip into the 20's.

Lakes are such serene spots, why not explore Foster Lake near Lion Lake; Lion Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Goldfish Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Everybody loves Cub Wallow, and the Deacon Lee Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a fine site close to Lion Lake, and soar down the rapids of Coffee Creek in a kayak. | |

Having a brilliant time in the Klamath Mountains is uncomplicated. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Trinity River; Conway Lake is a great lake nearby. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a good vista of Sugar Pine Butte from Lion
Lake; you can stay the night at Goldfield Campground. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Klamath Mountains.
