The beauty of Lion Canyon Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Pratt Trail, and Channel Islands National Park is a great local destination. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lion Canyon Reservoir you can play some golf at Clubhouse the at Soule Park Golf Course; do take a hike on the Foothill Trail. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Sierra Madre. Best Western Casa Ojai is a great location to get some rest, and lakes are such calm sites,
why not stop by Senior Canyon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lion Canyon Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, The Pine Campground is a great place for that, and at Lion Canyon Reservoir
you always meet someone from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura. If you come at the right time of year, Sespe Creek offers some delightful whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Hummingbird Inn.

the year, highs regularly are in the 90's at Lion Canyon Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 60's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lion Canyon Reservoir temperatures drop to the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Sierra Madre.
