Do set aside some time for Cub Wallow while you're here at Lilypad Lake. There's so much to do here at Lilypad Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Goldfish Campground is a pleasant place for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a pleasant local destination here at Lilypad       Lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Lilypad Lake. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lilypad Lake tend to be in the 20's. Having a pleasant time in the Klamath Mountains is trouble-free. Not far from Lilypad Lake, you'll find Tapie Lake which is a wonderful lake, and you can run the rapids of Coffee                  Creek. Lilypad Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July.
