Lily Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Ben Johnson Trail, and beaches are magnificent and China Beach is no exception. A short spree to Huntington Falls is always worthwhile, and George Washington Bicentennial Grove is a pleasant forest area nearby. Stanyan Park (Le) is a splendid location to get some rest.

| | best, and a brilliant panorama of beautiful Buena Vista Heights is available. Just can't get enough of Lily Pond. Lily Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Edventure More is a good local campground; a lake close by is Twin Peaks Reservoir. Lily Pond regularly gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest of the months is July.

When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lily Pond temperatures descend to the 30's. After a long day outdoors Geary Parkway
Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for a tremendous spree, Golden Gate National Recreation Area is pretty near. There's some flowing water nearby, Lobos Creek is a stream you can have a look at while
here, and a golf course nearby is Presidio Golf Course.
So many fun things to do at Lily Pond, so little time. Don't leave Lily Pond without first going for a hike along the Bootjack Trail, of course you could also stop by Sunset
Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. A glorious site to camp here at Lily Pond is Mountain Camp; Marx Meadows is a stunning site any time of year. You'll meet a lot of people from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont here; a good beach nearby is Baker Beach.
