Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lola Montez Trail, and obviously White Rock Creek is a charming stream that is worth a visit. Just can't get enough of Lily Pond. Take a hike on the Warren Lake Trail; Cold Springs Campground is a pleasant local campground. Nearby Upper Jones Valley is a good place to go if you're at Lily Pond; Van Norden Campground is a fine campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lily Pond a wet place; the

| | month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lily Pond is right by the Glacier Lakes Trail, and while you're here, you could also explore beautiful Upper Lola Montez Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Royal Gorge, and if you're here at Lily Pond it's a splendid idea to check out Bull Flat. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already | |

but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Fordyce Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and Buzzard Roost is a peak you can see from Lily Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Soda Springs since you're here, and Hole-In-Ground is a nearby lake that you could check out. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express TRUCKEE is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Lily Pond is located
in the Northern Sierra Nevada. During the summer at Lily Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lily Pond.
So much entertaining stuff to do at Lily Pond, so little time. If you need a site to stay The Inn at Truckee is a magnificent choice.
